Copper and Gold Ore

Copper and Gold ore have the same look with exactly the same color?!

They have different block icons though, so you CAN tell which is which. Copper has larger and fewer "Mineral" dots on the block, whereas Gold has more, but smaller "mineral" dots. I do agree that copper should switch to a turquoise color though for easier quick visual recognition.

they are different. I can tell the difference from afar. I can also tell the difference with the inventory icons too.

Where do we actually find the gold though, I'm still stuck in "Gather Gold Ore". I've tried mining deep and in different spots/biomes already

Open your menu and select your bot, click the tier 2 ore, it will pick randomly if you haven't found a single gold ore yet. If you have managed to find at least 1 gold ore then the bot will have the option to search for that specifically. You may have to upgrade a part on the bot for scanning if you have not done so yet.

We recommend looking into the pit after your ship crashes and use the QB-1 to search for ore. It will highlight it underground.

When you point the extractor at a cube, you can see a description of what kind of cube it is at the bottom left. In addition, if you are looking for gold, you can use the drone scanner, it will indicate where it is and in that place there will definitely be gold, not copper :)
