The game needs a wiki
Friends, this game needs a wiki. Because a lot is unclear and the game reference is not enough.
For example, mods: what does the stone mining mod do? It’s unclear.
Or, for example, why do I not get anything when digging blocks of stone or dirt near my base? Is this a feature of the game or do I need to play around with miner mods? Where can I find high-level mods?
What to do with many components? Which components can be crafted and which can only be bought?
How to obtain dark and ancient chests? Where to find high-level components?
There is quite a lot that is unclear. Yes, ideally this is also part of the gameplay and it should be figured out within the game. But today I spent several hours searching for creatures that drop components for ancient weapons and found nothing.
If anyone has experience creating a wiki, please start (preferably not on fandom).

And for the components for weapons: There are some animals with young ones by their side. Those big ones drop those tier 6 materials needed for the weapons.

Eww fandom... a hive of malware and intrusive ads. No thanks. wiki.gg is better in every way.

Yes i fully agree that we need more game guides and videos :) Actually there should have been a longer tutorial quests, rather then relying on the story quests for direction. The game is very complicated...

do anyone remember when games came in a box, and had a user manual or even an actual book ? sometimes had other books like a lore book, or spell book. Those were fun days too.

Prima Guides: the golden age of game knowledge, before day-1 patches and incomplete releases ever became a thing.
