So i got the game yesterday and finished the first temple and seen a little of space, next task is to find another temple and that is pretty straight forward. But... it seems like the other temples are a bit far away from starter system, and i see most of them is lvl 10+.

I have crafted T3 (purple) gear and mods for my ship, and my drone is T4 and im kind of restricted now to upgrade more because i need super conductors which i can only buy or loot from my guess is tech 3 planets ?

I went to Italo since that says lvl 5-9, but most things there is pretty rough and pretty much 1-2 shots me. Funny thing is though i most of the time 1-2 shot enemies at these places, so not sure if im missing something or am i doing anything wrong ?

try to get a better ship first, in bardwell system you should find a better ship then the Starter ship. just scan and go to the signals, there you find wrecked ship which you can repair. then craft some warp cores go to bepper system there you find the wreck of an planet bane Ship, best ship imo. go to planets with high tech and low pirate activity first just loot the chests in ruins and houses from the people there you find t5,t6 and t7 gear and weapons. for money travel to talibah 1 there you can farm tons of t5 jewels but need a t5 or t6 extractor first, the planet seems to be a pure jewel 10-15 mins you have 3-400 jewels there, craft jewel plates and sell them on Melea Station for you qbit account.

go explore signals in space and on planets... fight pirates in space to get more warp cores

Yeah i did that, been repairing a few ships on my travels and grabbed gear here and there but still kind of feel like im always the under dog ? Also is it normal to only have 1-2 shield badges on T4 ships ?

yes even the best ship Planet Bane has only 2 Shield Badges, i have T5 Equipment in it, i dont know it is possible to craft t6 or t7 Equipment for the Ship.
