After saving the queen, are there supposed to be people in the surrounding cities? There is no one but the queen and the guardian inside the castle

Maybe they all decided that monarchies historically just became monarchies from rich families or groups of people stealing from the less well off people over hundreds of years, becoming self proclaimed monarchies until it become tradition and realised that nobody needs a monarchy as they are all self serving self important entities with no real right to be in that position, so nobody returned? [/endmoncarchydespising]

yea wheres the inhabitants? there should atleast be a merchant there that buys infinate of every item in the game... would be a worthy reward for story completion imo
