Registering new base on map...?

.....I'm still messing about on the 1st planet and have constructed a new habitat I would like to be new base there. I made the 1st starter base where you first spawn and want to now relocate. How do I get the map to recognize where I'm building my new base...? Thanx

Just put up a new bench and chest or so and it will register a new base.

...ah I see thanx for the info, I tried a crafting bench on it's own and I see now that was not enough on it's own

ur drone can give u free crafting benches too btw

For anything to be considered a base in this game and subsequently marked on your map, making 3 benches or buildables in an area is required. Anything less than 3 different items and it will not consider it a "base".

...ah ok....tyvm for that tip....I just moved my upgraded original crafting bench to start a new base as I couldn't figure out how to craft or get another basic one 🤔 lol
