No, no, I meant how to remove the weapon from the hull. I have the Red Fighter and wanted to modify it, but I can't get the weapons off the hull.

ship creation isnt in the game only modification so some things are locked

Oh you mean aesthetically? I don't think you can modify the visual appearance of the hull afaik
