Can you fly to another system or you have to warp there?

You warp. Do the mission from the temple to cleanse the corruption and you'll get the blueprint for warp cells. The hologram there also gives you a couple of warp cells that it has lying around.

Going to any undiscovered / new system will cost warp cells, but after that the warp gate in the system is discovered and available, you can travel to any discovered system for free by flying your ship into the gate.

Thanks does that include completing obtain a shard of light quest because that’s what I’m on. Haven’t got a BP yet for warp cell.

Yes, you have to complete that mission chain.

You're almost there. The part where you get the warp cells will be coming up soon after this part. Just keep following the missions.

Just to update as I know everyone was on edge of their seats… i got the BP for warp cell thanks for the help.

Now I need to find dark dust again for the warp cell. All these planets are clean but im guessing there’s some darkness floating around on one of them somewhere.

fighting ships in space can give warp cells also darkness shielders in space have 2 drones i quite often found warp cells on also

Thanks how else do you get darkness dust? I need 30 but bardwell says no darkness present. There must be some somewhere in this system aside from fighting ships.

Nevermind I found a small site on bardwell 3 that has some dust!

the quest should have given u 2 after getting u to make 1 warpcore

as the main quest takes u to a city and u have to close a portal in the nexus

the quest should have told u to go to the nearby city and when u got there u get attacked from a portal ( cinematic plays) then u have to enter the portal block the beams loot the chest come back... the only thing it doesnt explain is that u can right click with the purifier to call a light strike using a light shard lol

For future reference, there are also corrupted creatures that hide under dirt blocks and drop several dust when you kill them. They pop out to attack when you get close. They're easier to find at night, because a bit of light leaks out of the bottom of the block they're hiding under. They still show up even after you've cleaned planets. That's how I got enough for the first warp cell when I was on Adventure mode and forgot to plan ahead. :D
