Shield recharges too slow.
Tired of sitting and waiting for shield to recharge to try to gun fight and not die. The constant downtime from waiting for your shield to recharge is boring and not fun. Makes me just want to quit honestly.

I peak out from cover and sniper instantly hits me and takes all 4 shield levels off. One more shot and dead so I have to take cover again and wait for shield to recharge which takes way too long, and then rinse and repeat.

Snipers are terrible at adjusting their aim, try running sideways towards them. Or bring a high tier sniper of your own to pick them off before they can get ever hit you, you can craft those at any of the liberated outposts on Bardwell 2 if you haven't looted any.

They also can't shoot twice in a row, you can just eat the hit and kill them as long as your gun is half decent and has the range to hit them back.
Pirate shields seem to recharge much faster than your own shields - both on your suit and on your ship. Gets frustrating because you have to shoot so much just to deplete the enemy shield to do some real damage, and you only manage to just barely get through the shield when your weapon overheats, or your ship's fuel cell runs out, causing a delay, which then lets the pirate shields recharge. Augh!

This might have been an issue before they nerfed enemy damage but now it's pretty easy to just run up to them (at a slight angle to throw off their aim) then melee them to death.

Or as prairie dogs mentioned, get a sniper rifle and just kill them from distance using the scope.

But you're not wrong about shields regenerating ridiculously slow... I just think that instead of addressing this issue they nerfed the enemies in different ways and now they are kind of a joke.
