Cubic Odyssey

Cubic Odyssey

So Far a Great Experience!
Been playing for many hours, exploring everywhere I'm allowed to go in the demo. Even got to the very bottom, founded some lava, or maybe magma blocks. They do damage, but this lava don't flow. I got my hands on some extra weapons other than the ones you can craft in the demo. Also got some extra gear with mods/add-ons.

I have been mining a lot. and chasing meteors for the extra mats/resources.

One main question that I have is... how do you apply the mods/add-ons to your gear and weapons? so far the mods/add-ons and able to find are not labeled as "demo", so I'm guessing there is an option to apply the mods/add-ons to my gear and weapons. If by any chance this is not possible in the demo, please let me know.

One side question... even so I'm playing by my self all this time. does this game/even the demo, are running with a server? I'm just asking because sometimes I'm hit with a huge LAG spike, and during this issue, controlling my character is impossible.

There's a modding bench that allows you to apply mods to weapons/items, but it's not available in the demo

No, there's no server involved, it's a standalone game and you don't need an online connection in order to play in Single player mode. Could you share your PC's specs here, so one of the devs can take a look and understand the reasons for your issue? Like CPU, RAM, GPU, OS. One thing that could work, in case you barely meet the minimum requirements would be to lower the graphical settings and see if the problem persists.

The only time I've been hit by lag spikes have been during Auto-Saves. At this time, since it IS only a demo, it's not horrendous, but I've noticed it getting a little worse as I've done more exploring. I've had one COMPLETE crash that occurred during an Auto-Save, but the Save completed, as I lost no data. Yesterday, I had a near crash triggered by an Auto-Save, as I was traveling into new Territory, with a BIG lag spike, but it did NOT crash despite my concern that was what was happening, but it DID recover...
