why is there 2 glowing diamonds?

why is there glowing diamond gems and glowing diamonds that look like ore? cant smelt the ore looking ones ( got them from the auto miner)

imo block is better if u have 4 mods to increase yield... more ores

auto miner sometimes give u ore nodes instead of ore lol which tbh if u have t8 drill with 4x tier 5 yield mods u get 2 ores instead of 1... so the placable node is actually better
