how to kill dark walkers?

i light striked it and it instantly respawned.. what am i missing?

you hav to deal damage to its core after you nuke it !
damage fast enough to kill its core before Respawn

You have to attack the core that falls RIGHT after the Light Strike. When you kill the core it stops respawning. If you die (even with a ship right there) it will respawn instantly too. Should be a bit of time between spawns. A decent weapon and you can get it at least half way down after a light strike. My big question is, How do I kill the bio dome things with a building inside it and repawns out the bumm...

i had to stand on it in order to light strike... it killed by 7x shield and 3/5 of my health just getting the strike activated then it respawned in less than 30 sec... the "core" i shot at it and it took NO damage not even from my ship with its lazers and phoenix rockets.. there has to be a better way... does the mobile light strike thingy help? i havent made it yet as too lazy to find the glowing material yet lol hopefully today i get it done

im assuming use the bike to get close to activate the strike then swap weapons and shoot the core? only way i can think of to get close enough and not get run over by it and still be able to shoot it

i shot the core with phoenix missles and it took no damage other than my ship i got a SMA15ET6.. best gun i found so far

Just try more times, it's a bug but missile works better for now：/

wish i could buy light crystals cause im sick and tired of making them... they are too expencive... 90 dust each.... 30 would be fine but 90 is far too much since u need like 5000 light crystals inorder to get all the corrupted weapons and armors cleansed and clear all planets

I recommend getting a darkness purifier 4 or 5 you can shoot the walker from farther away and for taking out the core get a T7 marksman rifle and a assault rifle and mod them out with power, fire rate, and darkness banasher i was able to kill the walkers with 1 light shard each time. you have to jump out of you ship as soon as you blow it up with light strike and shoot it once with the marksman rifle, and then swap to your assault rifle and finish it that way

dude, dark dust are easy to get, just kill dark mobs. I deleted a bunch of dust cuz they filled my pack

easy to get? u in creative? the darkness spawns r stupidly op and usually 1-2 hit me in tier 7 suit

u cant get close enough without taking damage to light strike the dark walkers which means u cant get back to ur ship and u cant light strike it from the ship cause ur too far away
