More material and nothing lost in the action itself[getting wood} so its just the same plus more resource GAIN.
Whats wrong?
You don't need to plant multiple of them or in proximity to each other, I had it happen both in the demo and the full game from my first sapling.
Didn't know about the multiple saplings creating monster trees though. Good to know.
You dont need multiples, I actually think its random. I planted seeds from a small tree and I got the mountain tree and the half mountain tree just from 1 seed each.
The mountain tree actually engulfed one of my other trees that grew as a small tree, I was cutting into it and the small trees trunk was inside the large tree but with no leaves lol.
