Dedicated Server??
Is there a dedicated server for this game? If not, is it on the roadmap?

There are no dedicated servers yet. I expect they'll implement them if the game is successful :)

Right now we don’t have them, but it is on the roadmap.
just putting my 2 cents in would also love to see dedicated servers. Valhiem example 6 million sales in a few weeks, this game has huge potential and love what I've played so far, but every hosting company will promote your game for free for their servers, and players like hosting their own servers, co-op is frustrating cause someone has to be a host and with full time work and other its hard to even find people that have time to play. The game really needs steamcmd server where we can put up a server for friends to play on without having to be the hosted server 24/7

I think dedicated servers should be above all else. This alone will help to stabilise and inspire the player base. A few simple settings to allow shared storage and crafting, and you guys have yourselves a complete winner. This game is suberb and extremely addictive. It is only held back by the lack of dedicated, player run servers.

I'm going to throw my +1 in for dedi servers. As a developer myself, I can see the player base grow with dedicated servers on offer alone. Not to mention solving various pain points for players. Consider that dedicated servers can help with implementation of the current sync issues you are experiencing with the player bases' desire to have co-op questing experience. Offloading of proc-gen related issues, decrease in soft-locks when players teleport away from each other, such as having to sync prefab towns and other experiences such as the host dying and being teleported away to the base.

It's in roadmap, been since before release :P

Fair, but vague. Could you say its coming soon, medium or long run? I would like to be able to play with my kids this game, without having to have one machine up and running all day...

+1 for dedi, you got 2 buys when we get to that part of the road, its not really a shared world until you can have a dedi. NMS has the same issue, and they got resources. I dont really think alot of the game dev company money people understand the value in it and how it extends the playtime of their games 10x or more, and increases the cultural footprint of a game with that extended playtime across streams and lives. So they just build up tech debt towards implementing it later.
