Titanium/Purple minerals

Anyone figured out the most efficient way to mine purple minerals? especially titanium? i need titanium so bad i cannot progress, its keeping me from advancing to T3-T4 items.

Meteors rarely drop it and i tried to scan, and the robot always said: failed to scan

Will appreciate any help!

Are you still on the beginning planet? I've found a decent amount so far on the second planet.

yes i am on the starter planet, i am gearing up a bit until i venture out, just got blue scanner, backpack and jetpack, i need titanium for the T2 helmet though.

So planet 2 is the way to go? and how you got them? simply scanning?

Yes just like with T1 and T2, have QB scan for T3/4 ores until you've discovered all 4 to be able to scan them individually.
