Will there be dedicated servers ?

Can you add dedicated servers please if it isn't already the case ?

A small update on the topic:
We will try to add the ability for players to launch and maintain servers themselves, but this is a very difficult task for us. At the moment, we are making final preparations for the release of the game.
We will probably make dedicated servers after the release, as one of the updates. We understand how important this feature is, so we will try very hard to implement it.

The demo shows the game has potential, but after trying it and talking about the game with my friends, none of us are going to buy it without dedicated servers. Shame, as despite how buggy the demo is, the game seems like it will be fun once completed

Dedicated Servers may not exist, but the game still has Coop Play with up to 4 players, one of whom would be the Host...

I mean, i don't need dedicated servers to hang with the homies, we got decent enough pcs and as long as it isn't ♥♥♥♥♥ on launch, did this for 7d2d, can do it again for this game

Minecraft would NOT have gotten to be what it is without people being able to host their own servers. To disregard having dedicated server support for people to host their own sessions with more than 4 people is doing a disservice to your own success. You may as well just admit that you're just going to be a flop now without them, even Avorion had dedicated server support early on.

That's a shame. Was all set for myself and a bunch of friends to buy this if we could run our own dedicated server. Oh well, can't win em all. Good luck with your game anyway. :)

You don't need to host official servers, just like 7 days to die just let community host servers and partner with server hosting sites (like Nitrado) for extra bucks :D
