[Question] Double Mirror shields bugged or just not getting it?

As title.

I've unlocked the upgrade, and I see that I should be able to pass through "double lasers" (i.e. one in each direction), like the bonus found in the far SE of the first map. But... it simply doesn't work for me. The second shield never rebounds the laser and I can't get through them, either by careful directional aiming or boosting.

It's kinda driving me a bit potty - so: is this a known bug, or simply bad collision detection in the game?

Hello I have run into the same problem. I don't understand how to pass double lasers. Anyone?

PS Ok I got it working by carefully and slowly moving through the lasers with shields up and down or left and right while holding shields still so I guess it just takes practice. Good luck.
