The game doesn't launch

Well, all has been said in the title. The game just doesn't want to start, no error message, nothing. I can see the process starts in Task Manager, but it stops automatically.

I have Windows 7 64 bits.

Also, one question : does the game take 286 MB of space, or more ? When I try to install it, I see something like 880 MB in the properties but Steam actually downloads 286 MB. But when I check the properties of the game folder, I see 800-something MB... Strange.

No idea what was causing it, but my fix was to run the game as Vista SP2. Right click -> Troubleshoot compatibility -> Worked on a previous version of Windows -> Vista (Service Pack 2) -> Start the program. Hopefully that works for you all! :D

The black screen issue seems to be the most common. I don't understand it, and it is really frustrating..
I'm running Windows 10 (which seems to be when the black screen is most common), but that really shouldn't matter; this needs to be fixed ASAP.

i also run on window 10, which shouldnt be a problem fro the gamea because my other games run perfectly. they have been having this problem for ages from what i have read. they should have fixed it by now.

Guys, i ran the compatibility troubleshooter and the end result for me anyways, seemed to be using "scaling on high DPI" i was running in to an issue where it would try to switch the resolution but failed, so it would not load.

doing that does work for me. i did find though that i when i searched Huniepop.exe that other files showed up, there were like errror files or something this may help the developers out

Game is not lauching for me either. It keeps saying window closes unexpetingly and won't reopen.
I'm running it on Mac os, Macbook Pro

I have 4 saves and every time i boot it i get vanilla not working [white screen with sprinkes of not responding] chocolate not working [with sprinkles of not working] or chocolate chip [with the press such and such to enter steam/stream game]. And it never comes up. there is no save folder on my pc that i can find though and uninstall reinstall doesn't fix it.

I'm having a similar issue; the game doesn't launch or appear, no black screen, no white screen, no sound, nothing. All I get is a "preparing to launch" window that pops up for half a second and disappears without ever launching the game. I have windows 10.

My problem was same as the title, I press run on steam library and it says running and after 7 sec the game stops running and nothing even showed up from the start, I am using Radeon R5 M330 graphics card.
