Uncensored patch for mac

Trying to install the uncensored patch for a copy on my mac but it ain't workin. Can't find any instructions for mac as they are all for Windows so if anyone can help out it would be much appreciated. Tanks.

Hey, fellow Mac user here.

Download the patch from: http://www.teamhijack.com/huniepop/patch/uncensor.html

Put the patch in ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common

Open a Finder window. Click 'Go' at the top menu bar. Press your alt/option key and 'Library' will appear in the drop-down. Keep the alt/option key held down and click 'Library', and you're there.

I am still having issues. I've been downloading the patch but it's not working. I've tried putting it into the common folder as well as the actual Huniepop folder as i've seen other forums say, but the patch opens in my Chess app and it just isn't working. How do I fix this?

It shouldn't open just from dropping the file into the folder. All you do is put it in there and start the game as always from Steam, not actually try to open the file itself.

Yeah it didn't work at first. I tried to put the file in the huniepop folder and the common folder as well as a .zip version of it in the common folder and it finally worked. Before it wasn't with the file so idk what the issue was.

I've searched my library but can't find the folders y'all are talking about! I can't use the patch at all. I can't find the Steam Folder in my library.

Any help, I put it in both the huniepop folder and the common folder, but it still isn't working. I don't have the huniepop.app so could that be a problem, anything is appreciated

it worked for me when i put the file next to HuniePop.app. you can find it by right clicking on huniepop in ur steam library and going to local files and browse local files, then just put the patch file next to the HuniePop.app and load the game, it should work fine.

wait is this to uncenser the steam version

Still cant get it to work. I have tried putting it in common, the huniepop folder and in the huniepop contents. Anyone have a idea? Is it so simple that i should restart steam?
