Anyone else showing interest/bought the game beckause of jacksepticeye?

I would like the game, but at the same time, I don't know if I want to try explaining why I got it. It's just one of those weird games floating around the web. Don't get me wrong, it looks interesting, but it's still weird.

If your Steam friends don't approve, then it's their problem. RL friends/family don't have to know, right?

Though I have several RL friends, colleagues and family members on Steam and I launch HuniePop about 30 times a day (testing mods,) the only reactions I got were people saying they want this game.

I didn't buy this game because of Jacksepticeye's HuniePop Youtube videos. I will admit that with well over 1 million views his videos have done more to promote this game than I ever will.

It is a wierd game like quantum mechanics is wierd. It took a genius to figure it out (create it) and it has it's own unique beauty.

If anybody wants to know why I bought this game, it is because it is sexy.

Who says you need to explain why you play this game though? You are free to play whatever you want right? I personally wouldn't care if anyone thought I was weird or something cause I play it. I enjoy it so it's not my problem if they have a problem. Most of the time these type of games are things certain people don't understand and that's why they judge. I say, let them. :P

Well, you could always buy the DRM free version and not activate the Steam key. Then nobody has to know but you.

Won't get cards or achievements, though.

Bought it a few hours ago... not disappointed at all. I agree with Kisama, why should you explain why you buy and play what you do? enjoy your gaming!... also, if no one has said it I will: the graphics and voicing are pretty darn nice ;]

I heard about it because of youtubers in general, I just bought it and am not sure if I should play this in front of people... that being said, I gotta show this to my girlfriend lmao.
