is it just me or is it a litle wierd to think about that momo is 15 years old and we are dating and sleep with her?

She is actually not 15. Months count too. Momo is about 20 in the game.

I always thought that one year was equal to 7 cat years, just like dogs. As for her being one cat year old, that could just mean one (cat or human) year since she's taken on the catgirl role (but that still doesn't explain the tail).

the age of consent in japan is 13, that's around the time it's natural for any human to have sex. We just have age limits for responsibility reasons XD

I haven't even managed to unlock Momo yet. I have seen the bag of fish once, and didn't know about buying it. And many days playthrough still haven't come across it again!

Being 15? Yes.. creepy. Unless you are 15.. in which case dating Jessie, Tiffany's mum is pretty creepy. But then that is pretty creepy in general there.

Well the thing is that she's clearly not human, nor a cat. That means we can't use standards for when those two become adults. If she has an adult brain for her race (sexycatgirlpeople?), then she's not under age even if she is a single year old. We know pretty clearly that she is at least old enough to be in "heat".

No, the rules very much apply, it's just that no one took the time to write anything down for how to deal with humans having sex with whatever Momo is. Most legal systems will instead use the spirt of the writen rules to come up with what is legal in a case like this. That means what ever age Momo's race becomes an adult is when it's legal for you to have sex with her. I'd say it's intended that she is in fact an adult of her race at just over a year old.
