Is there an actual story?

I have not played one of these since tokimeki memorial and I loved how they had a bad end if you did ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things. I almost want to get it because as far as I know this is the first erogame to come to steam. So, don't spoil it but is there a story?

The only story is that you meet a love fairy who helps your miserable butt meet women and become a chick magnet. After the opening scene and tutorial, you're basically on your own. The story only evolves a little as the fairy decides she also wants a piece of you (but you still have to earn it). Aside from some random unlockables (not so random, but whatever) there is no story.

If you consider learning the backstory of the girls and their personal information part of the overall "story" then sure, there's that. But there's no story line like there is in say something like the sakura series.

This is more of a match 3 dating sim (or exactly that), than a visual novel. The match 3 is actually quite fun, and fairly difficult at times. The rest of the game is as you would expedct, quite lewd. And if you're an achievment hunter you have plenty of work to do because a lot of them are fairly difficult. Like, speed running, or not failing any dates, or playing on the hardest difficulty etc.

This game is in no way like tetris.

I like hgames because that is close to IRL relationships for me, all this fiddle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around being stuck as a guy to seal the deal always felt annoying. People get hot for each other and screw unless one of you has issues, usually the chick and you have to bounce.

I liked artificial girl but it had no story and was hoping that years later the Hgames with 2d characters would have gotten as interesting as tokimeki. Been avoiding them because so many of them have loli-con :|
