How do I turn on Alpha mode?

So I finished dating every girl. I gave all the panties to Kyu. She said the next challenge was Alpha mode, but when I continued playing all the puzzles are the same. Do I need to do something to actually turn it on?

it should be active, check in your options if the difficulty is locked on hard, if it is, check if on each date the points needed to win still increase, if they both check, you are on alpha mode.
The date puzzle stays the same, just gets harder.

So I figured it out! There are two hidden characters that you need to unlock and sleep with before alpha gets turned on. One you need to throw away a goldfish for, the other you need to give your dirty magazine to Kyu and she'll give you a device that you have to take to the beach at night.

Unlock Momo: Buy a goldfish and throw it out outside (ie: park).
Unlock Celeste: Give Kyu dirty magazine, then take the strange device to the beach at night. May take several attempts since not many girls go to the beach at night.

Actually, due to a bug, Alpha Mode really locks you into Normal mode instead of Hard, so the bedroom minigame ends up being easier than usual. Regular dates are unaffected by this change, as far as I know.

Also the difficulty isn't actually locked, either. If you open the HunieBee to the settings page, close it then open it again, you can freely switch between Easy/Normal/Hard as you like. This is the only legitimate way to return the difficulty back to Hard after unlocking Alpha Mode, although this is still easier than v1.0 used to be.
