So I did research and it says I need to use this at night at the beach but how do I "use" it? i was at the beach at night and i clicked on it but nothing happens. I gave it to the girl, she didn't want it. wiki says I needed to "depart" so does that mean I need to leave the girl without dating her that night (if i date her then i'll sleep with her).

Been a long time since I played, but you indeed are not allowed to sleep with her, as you'll miss the event. Depending on who your first date is and which order you date, the timing for the achievement has between 0-1 days leeway (that is, not all that much.), so pick the right night to waste.

Because you have to be at the beach when you leave that night to visit another girl, it means you can date her if it is not your 4th date, if it is her 4th date you can not.
I have tried it both ways : offering Nikki the wierd thing or not offering it to her does not matter. The only things that matter are Night, beach, wierd thing in inventory, leave the beach to visit another girl.
