Stern Minor Update!

Today we're bringing you a minor update for minor quality of life improvements and bug fixes, many thanks for the patience and we hope that these changes make the experience smoother and more accessible for everyone.

Patch notes

[System Improvements]

Asset used for the tutorial replaced to avoid confusions
Spawn location re-positioned closer to the wreck when Tutorial is not selected
Updated name for Lifeboat davit
Updated excursion limit on stern area
Improved collisions for more smoother viewing of the hull
Updated UI value controls

[Bug Fixes]

Fixed: Performance issues on stern section due to collision geometry.
Fixed: Sound beep when volume is at zero.
Fixed: Overlapping in voiceover when completing the last scanning objective
Fixed: Game Runs now in Fullscreen mode from start
Fixed: video quality settings, audio settings and camera sensitivity settings are now saved between game sessions

Are the system requirements mandatory or is this more for the recommended range?

There are many games and programs with relatively high requirements, but they still work with much older/weaker hardware, is that perhaps the case here? I have an i7-4790 with 24 GB DDR3 RAM and an RTX 2060 and would love to buy it, the only question is whether it's worth it for me and whether it would run, I'm not planning an upgrade or a new computer until 26, maybe 27....

We just wanted to drop in with a quick update. We’ve seen your feedback around issues with the recent Stern update in vROVpilot. We’re on it. The development team is actively working on fixes and improvements as we speak.

The Team at Magellan are very excited to bring everybody the long-awaited Stern addition to the vROVpilot portal.

Fixed scan validation shader not always well visible
Fixed mission timer restart after opening the menu

Videogame UNDER THE WAVES as an example of floating and submersible gameplay.

In the game Under the Waves, we can take as an example the best way to recreate underwater buoyancy and the playability of underwater objects. The size of the main character and his position on the screen make the platforms and sunken ships have a wonderful on-screen presence. In Vrov Pilot, the size of the ROV in the center of the screen makes the Titanic seem small. I will make this thread to add suggestions of things to improve as I explore the game, and also have pleople come in and add their own suggestions. There should also be an option to turn off the UI. Customisable video settings, resolution, sharperning etc. Customisable keybindings, I for one can't play with WASD controls, only arrow keys. Let us input the camera sensitivity ourselves. Using the arrow as it is currently we get random numbers and it is very hard to set a specific camera sensitivity. Hav...

Real human scale virtual reality COME ON SURLY

What game engine are you using, I ask because i like to use this with the VR mod UVER but it need to be an unreal engine in order for that to work. Instead of a ROV if you let people put on a VR headset that put them inside a sub in real scale that would be amazing. I know it might be controversial with the recent disaster. But it surly something worth doing I buy the game in a second then....
