3 point shooting system based on luck?

I swear this game has a very stupid 3 point shooting system it is like 30% skill 70% luck I got a SG their specialty is 3 pointers but in reality that really makes no difference in the game I'm level 20 right now and since I first started my SG I continuously upgraded my 3 pointers its at like 185 and I have 3 point help cards equipped I got the toy for 3 Point success I got my shirt adding to my 3s I'm not expecting my shots to go in all the time of course not but I DO expect my shots to have a better chance than PGs SFs and PFs to go in especially with a fake shot and D in front of me I could play a game where I bust out plenty open 3's and miss many and than a PG SF or PF ends up dropping way more 3s as if their specialty was 3 pointers low level dudes dropping them with people right in front of them its no way they are close to my strength in 3 pointers because I made it my main priority since I began my SG it is ridiculous I practiced trying to see where in the green I should stop at for success turns out makes no difference my green circle for open threes is 80 percent filled up and I still miss I can have games where I drop threes a lot but I have way more games where the opponents drop way more threes and they don't specialize in 3s thats the issue.

Tips for threes: Don't shoot in a face unless you know they won't jump or are spamming steal.
Don't fake and then shoot in the same spot, it lowers shot %
Those threes people make in faces are pure luck, you can do it too, but since you are shooting more, you miss and make more, so in reality, you think you're missing a lot compared to the times you make it.
Just try to get yourself open and then shoot, and pump fake anyone that isn't a pg
GL, you won't make ALL your shots because even pros miss irl.

1. You don't see people in NBA making 100% of their threes when open, and you're over exaggerating the fact that "all green with no mark misses all the time".
2. "as far as i see it. my pf makes more threes" If a pf is left open, he uses his 3 pt attribute to shoot along with a no mark bonus, which is around 50%, but only if open. SGs, that shoot CORRECTLY and don't FORCE SHOTS should get around 70-90% most of the time.
3. The only things SG has to make threes is 3 pt succuess, focus and a lot of 3 point attribute. This is enough to put a big gap between sg threes and other threes, but you can't make magically make more threes just because you're an sg, since if any role has as much 3 point attributes as you, and succuess and focus, they will three about as well as you.
You just have to make GOOD shots and raise your 3 pt attribute. Also, your pf probably makes more threes because people guard SGs and leave PFs open

tl;dr Take good shots as an SG and you will do well. You can't expect to get that many shots even when open if you're low level though because you won't have as many skills to get open and attribute points.

my SG is broken. Im lvl 42 and my 3pt att is 212+38. as i've leveled i've noticed NO difference in my shooting. I've had games where i missed every wide "no mark" shot. SF and PF shoot better than me.

3 pt def resist, 3 pt succuess, you need those from cards. 212 + 38 is actually just 212, and im pretty sure you just miss one wide no mark shot and think you miss EVERY one. PFs shoot better because you leave them open, you think SFs shoot better because they shoot threes less

Dude you clearly didn't comprehend the stuff I said

1. I said "I'm not expecting my shots to go in all the time of course not but I DO expect my shots to have a better chance than PGs SFs and PFs" who have not upgraded their 3s as much as me" and no did I say I miss when all green? no I miss more than I make on all green.
2. Please dude I know how to make open shots I been a NBA watcher and NBA 2k player for at least 8 years now 3 shots system sucks and for someone who has been upgrading his 3 since the beginning << do you get that part? I am level 20 and I upgraded my 3 every time I had the points to do it since the beginning so I deserve a very good percentage shot ESPECIALLY WHEN I JUST PRACTICE AND HIT OPEN THREES PLAYING WITH NO BODY WHICH I SHOULD MAKE ATLEAST hit 75 PERCENT OF THE TIME! but noooo the game doesn't think people who dedicate all their skill points on 3s deserve that
3. dude you can't talk to me about FOCUS and GOOD SHOTS and RAISE your 3 ATTRIBUTE my 3 pointer is so good for my level and even in practice mode alone there is no need for focus or to get open I still get stupid shots.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ HATE that everyone except Cs has a even chance to make 3s when they are open! these mother f****kers need to be upgrading their 3 for that! the game basically lives off 3's giving open threes to people who clearly don't put in the work for 3's


SGs SUGGESTED upgrade skill is 3 but I am here to tell you after all the skill points I stuffed in there I promise you that makes no diff. I doubt it makes no difference in any position the games 3 point system is just way to even they will let everyone make and they will let people who don't upgrade 3 hit streaks with luck you can get lucky and drop 3s a whole game like Steph curry by luck seen it happen many times people who don't even take their 3 serious but even with a great 3 pointer it wont be consistent game in game out even with high 3 point skill. If you upgrade your 3 with dedication and faithfully they will not let you reap the benefits point blank period.

I have those cards and NO I don't think I just miss mark shots on green and think I miss everyone I studied my shot making and it is yet to be superior than the next person who isn't even putting in as much Skill points as me on 3 pointers. I don't just shoot, miss and get mad and say I NEVER MAKE IT no I go through a vigorous cycle of games and shots to make my final conlusion about how STUPID THE 3 point system is.

here is a tip from a lvl 50 SG... my 3pts percentage are about 82% why? because i just dont use 3s all the time... you need to learn when to shoot 3s and no to... many people think SG are only for 3pts...noo!! use ur other skils...go middle or drive..then when you have a good time shoot 3s.... before i have the same problem with you..... 0/12 in the 3pts line..i was about to delete my SG..but when i learn how to use it corectly i score 20points per game...because i use all my skills....

dude just shut up you not here to do nothing except talk s***T you have not dropped no knowledge about nothing you just talking nothing right now go make your level 20 SG and upgrade your 3 from start to finish than then come talk to me since you all of sudden know all about my position and expierince. What about that level 40 up there he said the same ♥♥♥♥ he upgraded his 3 and he feels no difference. if you ain't got nothing logical to say dont say it you telling me you can make a level 20 in hours go do it than bro than come tell me im wrong for what I have been saying the whole time.
