Personally, I'd give it a neutral opinion if I could.

Basic concepts :

1 - You have a base, you build attachments and upgrade them, you build ship and upgrade them, you make research to unlock upgrades for ships and base.

2 - You have fleets that are used to attack and salvage neutral frets so you have resources to pay for your researches/builds/upgrades.

3 - You can join an alliance that help speed up builds/researches as well as being useful for dissuading others players to attack you (though being attacked and defeated only have minor consequences).

4 - You can attack other players for medals (I haven't understood this concept yet).


I mean, the game is good and reproduce the concept of many mobile games of this genre. Its not a 4X game so if that's what you're looking for you should look elsewhere. In fact, the game need more time investment when you start rather than later. The more you progress, the more time you require to build/repair/research things (this can go up to DAYS and probably WEEKS even further). This exponential time needed to build/repair/research things reduce the progression to a crawl after a few weeks unless you pay real money.

Does it worth it to pay?? I'm not sure. I haven't and still play it around 20 minutes day in order to keep my base, my ships, my economy and my researches growing (slowly). If you wanna go F2P and you can live with that you will appreciate the game. However, if you wanna reach leader boards and be competitive, be prepared to invest a ton a cash.

Recommended as a casual ''hobby'' to waste time. If you really want to play a game in which things matter and you actually feels like achieving something, go for something else.

An interesting game... Thats all i'm just gonna say. Do not spend money in the game it is mostly not worth it.

Vega Conflict is a Cross-Platform MMORTS Extreme PVP space base and fleet game, that is free to play. It worked on Win 10, looked good, sounds good, played good. It is a PVP focused game with PVE resource gathering that you can grind endlessly. Has some sort of backstory, daily quests, goal quests. Plenty of short term Events happening for earning higher level gear.

You have 3 resources to collect, two can be mined from asteroids that spawn constantly inside your base map, the third has to be gained by destroying AI fleets. You can attack other player ships and bases, for rewards of resources, event points and medals. It take increasing amounts of resources for each level of: building upgrade, gear, research and ships. Blueprints rarely dropped from certain level and certain faction PVE fleets that provide better weapons and gear.

You can control your ships in combat by giving movement directions, grouping and attack target. Your fleets can be AI controlled in combat so you can launch and forget at an enemy fleet. You can auto repair your fleet for free, if it has less than five minutes worth of repair time. There is a complex build system for your fleets and base buildings. Has some easy Steam Achievements.

Pros:
- You can play it for free.
- It is a huge galaxy, you can hide from trolls.

Cons:
- The paying higher level hardcore players have the weapons to pick any lazy or Free2Play Player base defense or ship builds apart.
- It is a Very TIME consuming game, even if you spend money.
- It is PVP game, where the paying hardcore PVP players will always have the advantage over new, lazy and free to play players.

Try it, but quit leveling before level 33 and Do Not send out anything over world and sector chat, unless you love the PVP. IMHO, the Steam PC / Mac version would be preferable over the mobile version.

Space clash of clans

Vega Conflict is a fun game depending on what you want to get out of it. If you're a hard core PVP person, you definitely have lots to do. If you're more of a loner who wants to farm ships, you can do that all day long as well. There are millions of ways of configuring your ships and fleets so that no two fleets need to be the same. The depths of ships, weapons, armor, etc is staggering.

The only thing I don't like about this game is that it takes forever to do things when you get to the upper levels. Can only upgrade 1 building at a time, can only equip items on one building at a time, ships can take over a week to construct, etc. It makes the game drag on at the upper levels. But getting to those upper levels is a lot of fun.

I've also seen a lot of Negative reviews saying you have to Pay To Win. This is a bunch of BS. I haven't paid real money for anything and have had no problems. Sure, I can't complete with the people way above me but I'm not supposed to. Farm resources, upgrade, buildings, repeat. I've never had to sit and wait because I didn't have enough resources. Rather I wait because I'm waiting for a building to get done upgrading. Sure, you can pay lots of money to make things finish faster but that's true for any game of this stye (e.g. Clash of Clans, Game of War, etc). Or, you can level up more slowing and learn as you go and not have to spend a dime.

Try it out. You'll probably get hooked.

Game is fun. I enjoy the simple controls and battle. Only bad is it is P2W. The grind it tough and it takes forever to achieve anything if you are F2P. PVP is not possible until you are built up significantly. Once you are there, it is fun to play against other players and try new techniques. If you don't care about PVP then this game is perfect, you will get hit be other players but you don't have to engage to play if you just want to fight the bots.

Great Strategy Game, good Gaming Style, Good Community overall..

Those are the Pros, and I recommend this game to most people..

The Cons, and a Warning... This game may be free to download and start playing, but you will have to spend a considerate amount of money to compete with other players. for the price of this pay to win leaching, you could buy several console game systems, and many more games... so be ready for some nice pew pew, and flying a fleet of ships in formations to defeat the enemy, but also count on several years of catching up to do, and you will never truly catchup to the veterans of the game.
