Switch weapon sets button?
Is it possible, like for example in Neverwinter Nights, or Baldurs gate, to quickly switch between two weapons? Like a bow and sword/shield combination? Otherwise I might have to equip and unequip things a lot.

I would like to know as well, I haven't seen the option in any gameplay vids yet. If not, maybe something worth adding if you use a Bow and sword a lot?

Honestly once you get a bit further in the game you won't be able to use a bow and a sword, as their stat requirements start to diverge too much. For example a sword might require 20 strength and a bow might require 20 dex, but you only have 30 points to spend at that level. We felt this was the right way to go to push the player towards specializing their party members for different roles, rather than letting everyone do everything (which makes them all feel sort of samey).

I actually agree, I think it's way better to be GOOD at one thing rather than Okay-ish at multiple things. It's just a bit sad about the Dual-wielding, but oh well, not the end of the world. Wait, what about if you simply replaced a shield with the second weapon and added its damage to the main attack's damage (-30% dmg penalty or something and maybe less protection for the player to balance)? You wouldn't need to add any new animations, it would just be a simple sprite swap. Heck, even just restrict it to dagger types.

Just an idea, although I'm probably suggesting something virtually impossible that would realistically require a rewrite of half the game, you understand your game far more than we do so if you say it can't be done then I totally believe you.

You didn't even get his question. Eh.

You don't need to change specifically from bow to sword (though that too has merit, to plonk at guys until they get closer), but for example, from a sword to a different sword (because all the skills are tied to equipment for some stupid reason)

That'd be useful, perhaps too useful.

I haven't checked, can you change all your equipment around while in combat? I'm guessing you can, so...
