Are There Any NON-Rogue-like Games Like Runestone Keeper?

I like the looks of Runestone Keeper, but abhor the rogue-like format. I do respect that gamer market, but as a casual gamer, I'm hoping someone can suggest a similar game(s) that allows one to save progress and restart from the last save point should the character die.

Radical Dungeon Sweeper and Dungelot are the only games I know like this. Dungelot is a non-roguelike, I believe, so start there.

There's a free to play mobile game like this, it's kind of a roguelike, but every dungeon you get a lot of stuff used for permanent upgrades, so future dungeons will be easier, and there are a bunch of different dungeons with widely varied themes and gimmicks.
