What's happened to this game?
Before he came to steam, I find a match in 1 minute, and now it takes 30 minutes to find a match. What they did to this game? ;-;

The devs have abandoned it. Now only a handful of people are able to play it because those who try to make accounts can't make them. :(
That's good to know before leaping into a booster pack :/ Players would be hosed if we didn't have other players' discussions to fix the retail descriptions

You know, I seriously wish that someone new buys this game. The strange thing about this whole kerfluffle is that the servers still work but nobody new can sign up to join us. I hope some new, more responsible developer grabs this game and resuscitates it.

Maybe it can't beat LoL or Dota, but it's got a following. While I enjoy a good Dota match at times, I just keep coming back to this game because I love how it plays more.

After dota's patch 7.00 strife is the best way to keep up playing MOBAs. I cant understand why some devs cant make a good moba while others are just ruining it. Like dota, HON, HoTS, etc. WTF is happening to the world?

Looks like everybody forgot how gamedevs tried to make a game withing a game in Strife. Any one played solo storyline? I think that's what made this game sink. It was huge amount of resources to make the storyline and yet it wasn't even near finished story there. It was obvious devs hoped this game would appeal and earn enough cash to finish it while the core, the moba part, was good but it kinda lacked few characters and balancing polish. Champion roster was the weak part here and for the money they spent on solo-story mode they might push 2-3 champions more and balance exisitng tad more.
Second thing is devs were already after opening HoN to public because it turned out that elitism didn't help much on paying the server bills while LoL and Dota2 were getting more lucrative events and ticket sales, skins, in game boosters etc.
What really killed Strife? Lack of advertising, having both solo and party things half baked, lack of money to be pumped in untill game actually gets steady income level and once again, no one heard about this game because it wasn't advertised properly.
No new players, no customers to buy skins, no cash for bills, huge problem for a mmo game devs.

But the question is "why the ♥♥♥♥ vavle is ruining dota? Why they cant just give up developing it and leave use alone. Without patches and other ♥♥♥♥. Since dota 2 has been released I HAVENT SEEN ANY patch that balanced dota 2. As for me is't just dying. Every patch changes dota to the worst. New heroes, new aghanims that changes heroes's main direction and roles (i usen to play CARRY mirana but NOT NUKER!!!!!) I wanna play moba but cant find any at least "so-so" alternatives.
