What a great start into Early Access, as expected some new bugs got found at launch, but could be quickly fixed. Very thankful for all of your support!

Some important settings were still missing like UI scale, toggle/hold run and some other stuff, and i was finally able to add them to the game. Custom controlls is still being worked on!

• New "Friends" Dropper + 12 New Geckos! (You might recognize some gecks)
  
• Total rework of level up popups
  
• Fixed restocker throwing geckos out of the restock tank
  
• Fixed just one single gecko getting sick
  
• Fixed cleaners not picking up gecko boxes
  
• Fixed several other bugs
  
• Zodiac Dropper unlocks at level 77 now

• added UI scale setting
  
• added run toggle / hold setting
  
• mouse sensitivity saves now
  
• added additional tips to tutorial
  
• added ability to set TV's volume
  
• fixed audio volume only changing when opening settings
  
• fixed stolen items falling through floor sometimes when thief gets hit
  
• fixed collection app set 5 + 6 not unlocking gold geckos
  
• fixed thief popup showing wrong stolen item

I'm still trying to figure out what causes:
1. Employees to reset their upgrade level
2. Tank deco to be bugged for some players

But im sure this will be also fixed in the next few days. much more is coming soon, new content and some big QOL updates!

I'll keep it short: The Early Access of GeckoShop is finally available on Steam!

I wanted to use this opportunity to thank everyone that helped finding bugs, and keeping me so motivated!


So much content was added since the demo, and alot of visual and performance improvements were done. I would list everything up but it's just too much new stuff.

The first beta is over, and we are really happy for see that great feedback!

Much happened in the last three weeks for GeckoShop, so many content updates released, and the game was never as polished as it is now.
The community's been growing daily, with many youtubers and streamers making content about GeckoShop. We are super thankful for all the support!

I will list up some highlists from the latest updates:

- Mac and Linux Support added
- 7 New Furnitures! Sofas (lvl 8), Lamps (lvl 9) and Rugs (lvl 11)
- New "Zodiac" Vending Machine, with 13 new super geckos!
- New Employee "Restocker"! Takes Geckos from Restock Furniture and stores them in the correct Tanks.
- x2 New Furnitures, "Restock Tank" and "Restock Basin". Geckos inside those furnitures will be stored by the Restockers.
- You can set a custom phone wallpaper (in settings, paste image path)
- New Beach + Ocean!
- Statues are back to the furniture shop (unlock at lvl 23)
- Setting to run the game in background
- Mouse sensitivity + Invert X and Y settings
- Game pauses now with escape key
- Cleaned up graphics / new shader
- Several map additions, and hidden areas
- Customers won't get stuck at checkouts anymore
- Fixed tanks not resetting the gecko type
- Added a WIP visual grid that appears when placing or moving furniture
- Expanded Collection App with 3 categories + Zodiac Geckos
- Better lab odds (50% common>rare, 40% rare>super, 50% super>lab)
- You can now look completely up and down
- Decoration attracts more customers to your shop
- Gecko boxes open 0.6 seconds faster now
- Completely reworked Customers/NPC system (purchase item RNG, how they choose furniture etc.)
- New Pallet system, easier to add and take boxes from.
- Shop App now shows you the Box rarity odds if you hover over their "?" icon
- New Shiny Boxes for Set 1, 2 and 3 (11% common, 80% rare, 8.5% super, 0.5% gold)
- New Rarity + 11 new Geckos, "Golden" (0.01% chance from common boxes), has unique effects when opening boxes
- Added a second Museum Box at the new Beach.
- Added Trampolines, unlockable at level 40 (+ different Color varieties)
- You are now able to click on Cashiers to send them to another random Checkout
- Level needed to unlock Box 2 and 3 was lowered
- You now get notified when something got stolen from your shop
- Building and Moving Furniture snaps now to a grid for better alligning
- New Furniture "Catch Basin Big" (unlock at level 18)
- 4 New Shop Colors


I've also been actively working on content for the full release, and features like full controller support, multiple languages, steam achievements etc.

I've been working every single day on this game, fixed alot of bugs with the help of our Community, and was able to add more Content throughout the week.


Today's the day you can start collect shells, and ancient artifacts on the beach.
Bring them to the Museum, and put them into the grey Box next to Bary.

There are shells that only appear at night, sunset etc., and some that are rare!

The Demo finally launched for 'GeckoShop'!

I was able to fix all the bugs we found in the Closed Beta, now I'm ready to publish the Demo for everyone to play.

If you still find a bug somewhere, or want to tell me your feedback (very appreciated!):
You'll find two buttons for this in the Main Menu of the Demo, this buttons will open a short google form where you can let me know.

I'm very active right now working on content for the Early Access release, i will keep you updated.

Thanks to every Beta Tester for helping me polish and finish the Demo. Don't forget, everything in the Demo is subject to change, i am always looking for possibilities to optimize the Gameplay.

I've been updating the game daily, fixed alot of bugs and added some new features.

Yesterday i've added a Day/Night system, i also changed alot of movement scripts and other stuff, the game now feels much smoother to play.

Right now i am already working on content for the Full release, i am waiting for Steam to confirm the Demo Page. Until then i'll be daily working on GeckoShop, to make it as polished and fun as possible.

Also you might find some new stuff in the Backroom of your Shop, and around the map. Let me know your opinions!
