Your friend scammed people and abandoned the game years ago and only now are you defending them, that's suspicious as hell. And supposedly your "friend" doesn't even own the game anymore, he sold it to a new dev which was probably a lie.

Bloke made an attempt, then dropped it like a hot potato and ran off. I've said ♥♥♥♥ it to projects before myself, there's no shame in admitting you bit off more than you can chew, but it's a little different when it's a commercial project where you've taken money and you've run off without a word.

As an aside, I'm semi shocked this is still on the store, but 'ey.

Steam needs to have these indie abandonware games not only removed but should either have it in a contract that devs have to payback at least a portion of the purchase price of the game to the people who purchased it if the devs decide they can't or won't finish their game OR Steam should payback that portion of the price of the game to the people and have it written that they will sue the devs for this expense. I think Steam would be a better place with some more guidelines in place that will protect the people from bankrupt of cash grab devs. Hell we're lucky we got the refund option.
