Exploding zombies

I use guns only on the zombies with a helmet or of course those gas ones when I see them coming...

If he is too close, jus push him alway, don't hit him. By pushing him you might creat anough space to back off and shoot him.

You know, the police helmet zombies are actually the ones with the bullet proof vest and helmet.

Also the exploding ones make a very noticeable hissing sound. I learned that after dying twice to them. Also, like the guy below says, headshots or headhits are fine. But you only may hit the head. Hitting anything else except limbs causes them to explode.

Change your first reaction against a surprise zombie to a shove instead of a swing. Also keep your ears open, you can hear the exploding zombies when they're in your vicinity. And the reason they're exploding is because you're not hitting their head, headshots are one of the only things that won't detonate them.

And yeah, armoured zombies are pretty much the only thing you shouldn't be using guns on.

You should in fact avoid wasting bullets on them as it does zero damage until you get their helmet off... So you better use melee for that, once the helmet is off, then you can shoot him in the head if you like.

The armored Zombies I whack off their helmet and finish them with a gun.

I melee everything unless i get massively swamped. Sprinting away then turning back with the spiked bat works wonders. Exploding zeds are the exception, i sprint away and get some distance, then shoot their tank.

My first death today was because of a exploding zombie.. which was lying dead on the swamp (before you go to the Tower of London). I heard a hissing sound and he was partially visible through water and I got curious what was making the sound.. so I obviously hit it with my bat. Insta-death.

With my female character however, I have just started shooting these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my pistol. Even have come close to death twice thanks to them exploding (other zombies pose no threat compared to these).

Use pistol at medium range or snipe them from distance.

I was surprised by an Exploder in the water maze below Tower of London, but I simply pushed him back to an appropriate distance and blew him up with one shot.

Can anyone tell me though, if an exploding zombie blows you up, does your inventory or previous zombie dissapear from being blown up? Thats how it was for me last time it happened, if i remember correctly.

Just please tell me if a you can get the loot back or if youve managed to, im afraid to bring my weapons anywhere near Tower of London because there are exploding zombies.

oh crap didnt look at the dates xd well im fine, guess i just gotta git gud to deal with them boomers, though it was relatively easy, push them back, 2 shots to the head.
