Yep, I have this happen to me, and as you say it's a bug in the game and nothing to do with drivers.
I believe that is a different issue which also results in a crash. We are looking into that one as well.
We aren't ignoring you at all. I have no idea why you would feel this way when replying to a thread we pinned specifically addressing this issue, plus I have personally replied to several posts here in the Zombi Discussions. Further, the original post in this discussion has also been stickied on our own Ubisoft Zombi forum and we are personally responding to people with the issue there as well. Finally, the devs are looking into this even though it is suspected that it is caused by something other than Zombi (if you search Steam you will see that many people have had these types of issues for many games over the last year or two, not just Ubisoft games).
Is there a specific reason after all of this that you still feel ignored? Until the root cause of these issues is determined I am not sure what else we could do for you. I am open to suggestion though.
I'm running Win 10 on an i7 4930K with 16Gb DDR and 6Gb nvidia Titan Black. All files verified via Steam, and newest nvidia drivers (355.60).
Awesome for you to offer! I think the devs already received some files from others and have what they need to further explore the isusue. I'll check in with them (I'm just a Communtiy Rep not a dev) and see if they need one, if so I'll find out which one and hit you back. For now I can tell you that is indeed on ther radar, the various reps on different forums have been keeping them informed of issues we are seing posted.
Is there a way you could reword this? I am having some trouble following what you are saying. it does sound like whatever you are talking about is far removed from the subject matter of THIS Discussion though, this Discussion is for the minimizing/crashing issue so many are having.
Are you saying we are deleting Discussions from the Steam board here? As far as I know no Ubisoft staff person here, myself included, has deleted any threads about uPlay. Steam has it's own team of moderators too, maybe something got deleted we don't know about, but I assure you we are not deleting uPlay threads here.
Many threads of the exact same subject matter including similar subject lines have recently been merged into one bigger thread but that is because a lot of people are overwhelming the Discussion board with many separate Discussions on the exact same thing. We have been asked by some other subscribers of this Discussion board to do something about the overwhelming number of them so merging them was a way to leave them on the Discussions and give people their freedom of speech while at the same time making it easier for others to find Discussions spefic to their own needs.
If that is not what you are asking about I need clearer information from you as to the exact nature of your concern.
And who is "he" and "him" that you refer to? I feel like I missed a discussion you did not link me to, so I am lost as to what all the details are.
As for uPlay, I know some do not like it but there is loads of emails to us from people who do and feedback from other areas praising it, there are many more people we hear from that do like it and use it's features than complain about it. We and those people certainly don't find uPlay useless. The millions of free downloads uPlay users have enjoyed just for playing our games attests to the fact that plenty do in fact find it very useful. You may not find uPlay rewards useful but someone else may enjoy a free level for their game or some other reward every now and then.
I'm sorry it has to be done every time but I'm glad you found something that worked for you! Would you mind sharing what worked for the possible benefit of others? So far it seems no 1 solution works for everyone and some haven't found one yet so I'd love it if everyone kept this Discussion growing with everything that worked for them. I hope we can someday find a permanent one-for-all solution but for now the more sugestions the merrier!
