WTF?? Cannot get virucide!!

Okay so this is the 3rd time that I have attempted the Buckingham Palace missions and it is the 3rd time I am stuck in the bloody lab.

So the doctor tells me to go get some book. I get it. I return the book to him and he gives me an upgrade for my pad and a syringe full of virucide. He then tells me to scan and then kill the zombie in the next room. I am then supposed to fill up the syringe with virucide using the corpse.

The problem is that he has given me a syringe that is already full of virucide. This means that I cannot complete the mission objective because when I try and fill the syringe, it says it is already full. I tried letting the zombie attack me thinking that I could first use the virucide to save myself and then refill it but that won't work wither as the zombie will not bite me. It just keeps walking up and doing this stupid swing of its arm to slap me one, not very zombie-like.

How can I get past this stupid mission or is this game another write off?

Okay so I tried it a 4th time and this time the zombie did try to bite me so I stuck him in the neck with the syringe causing it to die. Once dead I clicked on the body to collect the sample and I get the message that the syringe is full. Not only that but the objective to collect the sample did not trigger so I am stuck in the same position. Locked in the lab with a full syringe in a game that won't recognise that I have completed the task set for me.

I'm reinstalling it now. Will try it again later. I did not realise that there are mods for this game. Anything good out there?

No, I completed the game once already playing it as it was supposed to be played. This time around I am playing it like a shoot-em-up and have been using third party software to cheat the game but some of the cheats break certain functions of the game.

Hello everybody,

I found the shovel, so I decided to put the Cricket bat in the storage box.
Unfortunate I CANT put both of them in there ! o.O

So, my Question:
Is there a possibility of getting rid of the cricket bat in my BOB because it takes unnecessary space?

Yeah, you cannot put the cricket bat and the pistol inside the raven's box because they're a part of your default equipment.

When this has happened to me, not with this task in particular but in general with this game, I've found that it works to move on to what the next objective would be if the game were to properly progress. There are certain moments in the game that act as a "trigger event" for progressing the story and you may be able to trick the game in to moving on to the next objective if you can find or remember what your next objective would be at that point in the game. It's annoying, but it beats having to start over entirely.

During the evac mission at the tower of London, my game bugged and the helicopter was stuck in place slightly above the roof, just floating there. To fix it, I just went back to the safehouse (what the game instructs you to do at that point normally) and it moved on to the next objective.

I can see how this would be frustrating and borderline game-breaking if this were to happen on somebody's first playthrough.

Simple: Don't use CheatEngine or related.

1. I can't remember if the lab of the doctor is leaveable at that time,
but actually just go to some places after you got the syringe,
get it empty, and return. Simple.
2. Do not use cheats or modified software, update if possible
