Controller not working

Do you need to enable the controller somewhere in the settings? My gamepad doesn't seem to be recognized in this game. It works fine in other games.

My Xbox 360 wired controller works just fine, didn't have to restart after installing or anything. Are you using a 360 controller or perhaps a different one?

I'm using a SteelSeries 3GC gamepad.

Oceanhorn only supports XInput controllers. The 3GC seems to be DirectInput only from what I've read.

You might be able to get it working using x360ce[code.google.com].

I had issues getting x360ce to work. So I tried using xpadder and mapped my gamepad to the appropriate keys. This works pretty well, except for the fact that every time I attack my character still turns towards the mouse controlled target (pointer). Is anyone else having this issue? Or do those with supported gamepads get the mouse controlls disabled?

The mouse is used to control the attack direction when using mouse and keyboard controls. There is no keyboard-only option.

The native controller support does not work this way (the mouse is not used).

I can't even get the gamepad working and I have an official XBox 360 Controller. ♥♥♥♥ makes me not want to even play >_>

Last time I played it it was working just fine, now a year later and its screwed. B works and so does START but nothing else. Game wont even let me choose to set the game to just gamepad. Keeps reverting to "both" but only keyboard and mouse work. What did they do to screw up the controller?

They didn't do anything, this is the same thing it's been doing the whole time.

Did you ever get it to work? Just got the game and its not working for me either :(
