Thanks for the tip! I have such a muscle memory for Gorn 1 that allows me to zip across the arena really fast so hopefully that binding lets me play without much trouble.
Money grab.
How do you notice the lower poly count?
I'm still on the fence about this game. I own Gorn 1, and I do not support phoneVR with my wallet (like the Quest 3 Adreno 740 phone gpu) - but I do support some Quest ports if greatly enhanced for PCVR - like Skydance's Behemoth.
Also haven't finished Gorn 1... Maybe I should start there, lol.
Probably it's adapted for metaquest not for pcvr means lower graphics that can be a type of "downgrade"
Blood also doesn't flow, it is all the same circle decal. When you hit someone with a blunt weapon the head doesn't deform at all. They also don't have full skeletons.
Gameplay wise i'd say it's an upgrade for sure. Adds new arenas, bosses, weapons and potions that make the gameplay more fun. I'd also say that you have to actually put some effort into your swings to deal damage in Gorn 2. In Gorn 1 you could put very little effort into your swings and still instantly kill them.
