ARMA 2 IS NOT DEAD GUYS YOU CAN STILL JOIN SERVERS!! HERES HOW!!

There are currently two ways of joining the Arma 2 servers

1. look up the Bohemia Interactive Servers List or copy the link here
http://master.bistudio.com/?page=1&count=10&filter%5Bstatus%5D=1&game_id=5
this will show all servers currently online in Arma 2 and the IP as well as port. In the server browser (Yes it's blank I know) look below the list where it says remote, now click on that and enter the servers IP at the top EXACTLY HOW YOU SEE IT and its port at the bottome ( most ports are 230, 2402 etc etc)

2. You can download Play with Six which is very similiar to DayZ commander. Select Arma 2 from whatever list of games it is you have, and go into servers and it will show you all Available servers for Arma 2. Double click on the server, and just like DayZ commander, it will open up Arma 2 and plug you straight into the server

Arma 2 is not dead at all guy's and im not sure why people gave up on it. In order to bring it back though we need help! host your own servers and it will appear in the list and using the methods i described, we can bring back ARMA! all we need to do is bring back the chernarus life and domination servers. But most server are only the ♥♥♥♥ children dayz. Arma is not a playground for "zombie-kiddies" its a great mil-sim.
But now arma is only a playground for dayz (arma2) or rpg(arma3) .Its so idiotic,the great milsim goes to a mainstreamgame for kiddies.

for those who do still play this game add me on steam and if ya ever see me play Arma 2 ( not OA or DayZ) i will have a custom wasteland server up alot just waiting for someone to come across my game the server name is Zero's Custom Wasteland

press new when you get to the server menu and choose from the list of Multiplayer missions you have available, when youre ready press start

If anyone wants to play, I am still down. I miss ArmA dearly...I used to run the Evolution of War server, I might if I can figure out how to make it work...

Oh sweet a response xD. Well I know how to join but I'm not a fan of DayZ or the other 3-4 servers that are up.

I tried hosting yesterday, my server was up like normal but my friend couldn't see it on server list. I was using Port 2302, do I have to do something different now or what? If I get my server up, everyone is welcome

truthfully im not sure, but if he wants to join your server he would have to enter both the IP and the port in the remote section so that he could find it.

The thing is, my server didn't pop up on the server list, so he couldn't get the IP nor the port (but I could just say the port since I input it everytime I open the server). That's what we're stuck on.

i think if you use hamachi it should work..if you know what that is

I do but I don't like using 3rd party programs/apps. I researched and found out that let's say I am hosting, I have to use "port forwarding"to host. I don't think the joining people or guests need to do that.
