If you own a xbox 360 i would recommend you try that version it has widecreen resolution and you can also play co-op which is a bonus.

The game can be balanced with 4:3 in mind (I'm aware that the Xbox 360 version has widescreen support, but the game isn't necessarily identical).
some can still be forced into full screen like every console game regardless of age, like even Atari games can be forced into full screen using ur TVs settings but with PC games there isn't much you can do sadly
