HD Resolutions
Has anyone found a way to run FF2 @ 1080p? Even 720p would be a remarkable improvement. After ravaging google for answers, I have come up empty. I spent a brief stretch of time looking through the local files, in hopes of finding an easily modifiable config.ini. However, nothing there either. Has anyone made an attempt at up-scaling this bad boy? Because the Stream controller has brought this title new life in my household.

I think the resolution for this game are hardcoded so you cannot edit/modify the resolution.

If you own a xbox 360 i would recommend you try that version it has widecreen resolution and you can also play co-op which is a bonus.

Sorry i could not help.
All these freaking Popcap games have a resolution only used in the 90's.. It's such a shame.

Thanks for replying, I didn't see the first comment until now either. I have looked into methods of upscaling it but to no avail. You can force settings via the Nvidia Control Panel, or Crimson but makes game unstable and doesn't improve look much at all. I'll post if I figure anything out. Thanks again for commenting. Cheers.

Outside of widescreen support, is higher resolution that important? Image quality doesn't magically improve as 2D art tends to be created in specific resolution (in this case 800 x 600).
The game can be balanced with 4:3 in mind (I'm aware that the Xbox 360 version has widescreen support, but the game isn't necessarily identical).

I hope that at some point, some highly professional Developers will make a Remaster/Remake of such a lovely game. Feeding Frenzy 2 is one of my favorite games from childhood, and I have such positive memories about it!

I am really hoping for a remastered version, because though the gameplay is fantastic, the graphics are a little out dated now, But it is still a blast!

that's kinda just what happens with most older games sadly, they were made for older hardware then never touched again

some can still be forced into full screen like every console game regardless of age, like even Atari games can be forced into full screen using ur TVs settings but with PC games there isn't much you can do sadly
