Low framerate, game running slowly

Hi, so I just got this game and I was really looking forward to playing it, but while it RUNS on my computer, it felt like everyhting was moving in slow motion. I don't know if that has to do with the framerate, or my computer, or what, but it made it very hard and a little boring to play.

Can anyone offer advice as to how I can fix this/make it run "faster" or more smoothly? Loading times were short, but the actual gameplay seemed slow and almost blurred.

My computer is a 1-year-old gaming laptop with with an intel i7 and a nvidia geforce gtx, but thats the extent of my knowledge of components. Is there anyhting I should try to make it run better, since it is such a recent game?

I had the same problem. I turned the all the graphics to the lowest settings and ran the game in windowed mode and that sped the game up a lot.

Just make sure it's running on the GTX in your system, and not the Intel HD on your i7.

Yeah, I had to lower the settings and restart my machine. It's a shame because on why settings you do miss the details.

When you've got dual GPUs in a system (laptops with dedicated GFX + an Intel), a lot of games recognize the Intel HD as the chipset to run the game on (due to energy saving, the Intel HD is most likely used to display windows), and not the more appopriate card (in your case a Geforce GTX).
