Star Saber Weapon?

Apparently you could get the Star Saber as a melee weapon? Anyone figure out how to get it?

Yep, beating the game grants you a C ranked Star Saber, at least on easy/normal not sure about higher difficulties.

Got a Rank C version from the ending. Hopefully there's a Rank B or an A for it.

got a SS rank star saber for clearing prime so it looks like it might scale! but for sure each chapter has a weapon you get and the star saber is the one for clearing the final chapter.

but devs drills is where its at

I got an S rank Star Saber for beating Commander. I A or S ranked most of the game, though.

I recently found The Forge of Solice Prime, slow as hell but really cool looking and powerful hammer.

I got one in one of the final chapters, can't remember how. I also got one for beating the game.

Once you unlock star saber by beating the game once, it will just show up anywhere. Shame that it doesn't shoot energy waves like the dark star saber, it still looks awesome though.

finished the game on normal and had 3 star sabers in my inventory.

Boss weapons and the Star Saber become random drops after you've unlocked them.

I want an A,S or SS ranked Dark Star Saber. I only ever get C or D rank ones as drops though
