Controller Support

I have a wireless power A controller that I use for don't starve, have never had problems with it. Windows detects it (uses a wireless receiver), but the game does not. Does this only support 360 controllers? I also tried another bluetooth controller I have but same result. Computer sees it but the game does not allow input from it. Suggestions?

My wireless 360 controller isn't picked up by the game, but works in other games and steam big picture mode. I tweeted activision support, and they said they can't help me with aftermarket controller modifications... whatever that means.

Wow that sucks. I guess that is to be expected of them. Odd though as the game shows controller support.

What do you mean by that exactly?

If you look on the store page, right column, middle of the screen like most games.....it says the game has full controller support. Even in the options menu it shows controller layouts. Looks like a 360 mapping so that was my concern, but wurzle is using one with the same issue.

Full controller support means you can download, install, start and play the game entirely with a controller through big picture mode. It doesn't automatically mean a wide range of controllers is supported.

wow I didn't know that. It's ok, thanks for the info Spawk. I prefer keyboard/mouse but I thought controller would be better for beat em ups. Appreciated man :)

Does it support X1 controller wired mode? If not I'll just pick it up on PS4.
