If you have an Nvidia card, you can force 3840x2160 (since the game supports that but not 1440? :s) to be downsampled to 2560x1440 using DSR. Looks gorgeous.

that does look good. would i need more gpu power considering the extra pixels from 2560->3840?

I have gtx970
You could probably turn down some AA settings or shadows and get a smooth 60fps if you're not already hitting it maxed out.

how do you do that specifically? I dont see that resolution in the game with my dsr

i managed to sort it by using GeDoSaTo :)

transformers devastation isn't listed in Geforce experience.

Go into Nvidia control and unlock all resolutions for all your games. Then it will be available in the game settings.
