Is it fine playing without a controller?

I'm ok if I can't bind the key but I want to know if it's comfy to play with mouse and keyboard? I played Revengeance and it has an okay mouse+KB support. What about this one?

mouse and keyboard are fine, though stuff like lariat may take a bit of practice

I play with keyboard and mouse exclusively and I don't see the problem. I did remap some keys tho. The preset keys for weapon change is stupid.

Just enter the game and press any button. It should automatically switch to keyboard control.

And you can redefine keyboard functions in the "Options" (Or is it called "settings" here? I don't remember) menu.

In fact, I found that just by pressing a keyboard button (or clicking the mouse) during gameplay will switch the controlls from the controller to the K+M setup (and pressing any controller button does the reverse).

You just have to press Enter twice when the game finishes loading.
Do note, however, that the mouse doesn't work in the game menues for some reason. You have to use the keyboard.

I had to use a controller, keyboard didn't work, plus I have also played the game on Xbox so I'm used to using a controller.

I find most games on PC are generally better when using mouse + keyboard all told. Especially games with camera control. I am setting up a Steam Controller config where everything works awesomely, but the camera is lacking just a tiny bit, so I'm thinking about switching back to K+M.

Control wise I think the controller is great, but I could do the same with a controller. If I can get the camera working better, driving would be awesome. All in all, I would say k+m is equal to using a controller... in most games it's a touch better.

actually games like this tend to work better with a controller (in part because they are built for one in the first place) controller camera is only a little bit worse but they make up for it by being a lot easier to combo buttons on (which is the same reason most people dont use a keyboard for fighting games).
