the low player count. Weekends seem to be the
best time to play.
It is fun with the bots, similar to when there were a lot of people playing. Generally the bots are sunk leaving player versus player.
It isn't quite as full of mechanics as Navyfield (Subs for example have Surfaced, Shallow and Deep. and Depth Charges don't have 'set depth') but it has a hell of a lot more to it than 'Point and Click while praying to the RNG-Gods for favour' World of Battleships. Still on the smaller side because it is made by a smaller developer and didn't have a previous game to leech money and fans off of (WoW has World of Tanks.)
But I know I've had a lot of fun and seen quite a few people commenting "This reminds me of Navyfield meets WoT and Battlestations" so... worth a shot! Be sure to nab the free DLC on the steam store for some port slots and silver and such. And if you google "Repulse: How to claim" the game has a free T5 Premium BattleCruiser (HMS Repulse)
And no, it isn't a "WoWS knock-off" as it was out for well over a year before WoWS but had been region locked to China only. (Steam's 'international' version came out November 12th 2015 while WoWS left beta that September, thus people thinking "Clone" )
