Because this totally compares to the 2003 TMNT hack and slash, right?

I'm not sure if negative or positive statment. For me, it looks like the hack and slash and that excites me.

I think this looks just like how a TMNT game should!

Of course that was awesome, but this is a 3d TMNT game.

That cannot be compareable to a 2d one.

IMO the last good TMNT game was in 2003.

So, I'm just throwing this out rn.

They also look like the michael bay TMNT characters, another bad sign.

Eh, how? They look like Mateus Santolouco's turtles from the IDW comic, not the Bay turtles. http://www.idwpublishing.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/TMNT_VOL9-CVR.jpg

Also, even if they did, so what? The turtles have changed a lot over the years, and they will continue to do so. I don't mind the Bay turtles, even if they aren't my favorite design. Personally I'm happy that we've carried on from the 80's turtles, because they were generic and boring copy/paste versions of eachother.

I have high hopes for this game however. The art style is great, and looks like some nice gameplay as well!

The game is based on IDW comics that why i and the turtles as welll as my henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady we all have the same apperance as the comics.

That game was horrible even by a 7 year old me's standards. Cel shading was cool but all the combat equated to mash square, it was so generic, the colors were muted, and the GBA version was better in every way.

A gameboy advance version of a 60 hour or so hack and slash game with a kickass soundtrack is better

lol
