That cannot be compareable to a 2d one.
IMO the last good TMNT game was in 2003.
So, I'm just throwing this out rn.
They also look like the michael bay TMNT characters, another bad sign.
Also, even if they did, so what? The turtles have changed a lot over the years, and they will continue to do so. I don't mind the Bay turtles, even if they aren't my favorite design. Personally I'm happy that we've carried on from the 80's turtles, because they were generic and boring copy/paste versions of eachother.
I have high hopes for this game however. The art style is great, and looks like some nice gameplay as well!
