Breakable door in Windmill Tavern

To the right of the tavern entrance there's a wooden door which looks breakable. Sadly my hammer won't hit it at all.

Do I need a better hammer than the first one you get? I was under the impression that any hammer can break any door.

Not every door in the game can be smashed open by a hammer.

From memory, there are 3 internal doors in the Windmill: The one where eveyone is hiding from the Assassins, the one where the innkeeper hides his stolen goods and one which you cannot smash open.

It's strange really - I'm guessing it's a small level bug. I can see through the cracks in the door and wall into a room behind it. The developers must have put it there for a reason, otherwise they wouldn't have wasted development time on it. They must have just forgotten to make the door breakable! xD

I have to admit, even tho' I've played this game several times, I still try to smash that door - it beckons my hammer and I just can't resist! :D

Its part of a quest from the trainer on the Beach i believe.

The door that is part of the quest from the trainer on the beach hides the room where the innkeeper has stolen goods - it has several chests and a bed in it and isn't opened by a hammer but by an alternative method.

Thanks for the help, but I was referring to a different door. Not the one in Tavern Treasures. I was talking about the door by the hearth on the ground level.
