Terrible performance?

i'm on a gtx 980ti and i get like 45 fps in the first area of the game when they attack the village

i've tried override aa settings in the nvidia control panel and turning off vsync in the ini

I get a stable 60 fps with a gtx 970, every settings maxed out. When first booting the game it used a weird resolution and I had to fix it and restart the game. I'm also using GeForce Experience so it might have automatically changed some settings not in the game. (Even though Venetica is not in the supported game list but I can't check right now. )

For me its run with 17-22 FPS on my GTX 750Ti... but I remember, when i bought the game back in 2015, on GT730 it was good 60FPS+!
It depends on the Videocard? Or nvidia driver?

I think I solved somehow... So I think the game has problems with DirectInput (modern keyboards and mouse). F.E.A.R has the same problem!
So I installed the FPS fix, wht is originally written for F.E.A.R:

This changes the mouse settings, so you can use it like 10% sensitivity.
But it works great with X-BOX Controller!

For me its run now 45 FPS+!

Edit: I removed then the fix, and the game runs now also with 45+ FPS....
And also I found in my device manager, that I have 2 keyboards registered. I removed 1, that can still your problem too!



Edit: NOW I have the stable 60 FPS!

1. Plug out your mouse (You can play with controller)
2. Set fullscreen effects Off
