Help with what to expect from the darker story elements in this game
I'm planning on playing this game with a friend, however some content can trigger her. She can handle nonconsensual sex and violent content in games but needs prior warning to prepare herself. I've seen from a couple of reviews that some of the bad endings have abusive elements and implications of nonconsensual sex. I'm also aware that even without getting a bad ending, Tei has some really uncomfortable elements to his path.

So, what I'm asking is, who else does my friend need to prepare herself for before we start a path that has elements of abuse or nonconsensual sex?

Do you want me to list stuff to watch out for in each route? Specific to each character, I mean.

Yes, please. That would be so helpful, thank you.
Alright, then.

Just to preface, all the love interests in this game are flawed in ways to game acknowledges, and that's a big part of the game, exploring their psyche and what makes them tick. This is especially important because they're not humans don't entirely think like humans. They also likely are no more than a few years old, each, grown bodies or no. This all plays into the good and bad ends.

While there aren't any moments of nonconsensual sex in the bad endings, I can see where that can be assumed without the full context. The game plays out a bit like a mystery in some ways and asks for you to find all the clues to what is going on and why.

Yeonho: This is a tense route, and the bad ends are the same. Two are violent. One is instigated by the female protagonist (yes!). Another has one character try to commit a murder suicide on the protagonist, which is stopped when a third character prevents it from happening, later seemingly killing said person bloodlessly. It's in this bad end where I believe many assume sexual assault happened, but information in another part of the game reveals this is not what happened. More detail on that: In that ending, one character says the protagonist got dirty so now he can ruin her; however, the game reveals in another route that this character's understanding of being 'dirty' and 'ruined' is very different from ours and does not refer to sexual purity but something else entirely.

Lance: One bad end has one character panicking in an aggressive way that never gets violent but might be uncomfortable. The end of the route also sees one character stealing a kiss as well as be a bit pushy about having 'making the protagonist his' (aka sex). A lot of people have no problem with this because it's framed in a cute and romantic light, but it personally creeped me out more than anything Tei did.
Yuri: This guy comes on really strong - like, wow - but he does respect the protagonist if she's upfront about how NOPE he's being. There's a bad end that has what amounts to a (romantic) threesome that some might see as sexual assault, but I'm just guessing. It's really tame.

Red: Honestly blanking on the iffy stuff here. No sexual content to worry about, but there are moments of violence that I'll get more into on 'etc.'. It's a stressful route, though, so you might want to take breaks.

More on Tei, etc. in a minute. Just want to make sure I don't lose what I wrote!

(And sorry for the double comments. Couldn't post the whole thing in one for some reason.)

Tei: Ha ha, this guy. I struggled to write this, and originally had a lot more spoilery detail than I do now. Anyway, sorry this one is so long. It's so hard to talk about Tei route without giving anything away. He's such a complicated guy -- you need both mental and emotional intelligence and the ability to express that. orz /exhausted

Thing is, his entire route is uncomfortable and does contains abuse. That said, said abuse does not refer to the protagonist being actively abused by her love interest. It's a heavy route, but it has good reason to be.

That said, Tei does do some wildly NOPE things for what he believes are good reasons (such as habitually drugging the protagonist); thankfully the route will go into why he does these things, and they're always framed as wrong. Agreeing with or giving into these wrong reasonings will always lead to a bad end.

Just about all the bad ends are creepy, and one in particular may seem sexual in nature. It's not, but similar to that moment in Yeonho's route, it really sounds like it. One bad end also contains implied consenual violence. Yes, consensual violence. Aha. Ha. Uh.

etc.: There are a few 'villains', some unnamed and some who are, who are in just about every route but are especially prominent in Red's route. Some physical violence and bullying, but most of the stress comes from one of the major plot points of the game -- a sort of violence that isn't physical OR sexual.

Woo! I think that's it.

Oh, last thing. I'mma recommend not missing any of the bad endings.

While some of them do get quite dark, almost all of them are essential to understanding the bigger picture, for both the overall plot and the overall characterization.

And have fun! There's a lot of serious stuff noted up there, but there's a lot of fun and silly and warm and empathetic stuff to look forward to, too. It's all wrapped in one big crazy Nameless package.

As a correction to the above posted about Lance: at the end of his normal ending sex is actually not what happens. He marks her with his mouth. It is sensual but the following scene with the other boys makes it clear that they have not, in fact, had sex
