Can't seem to play?

I boot it up. The menus and everything seem to work fine. The UI I can toggle on and off, but I'm not actually getting the gameplay.

It's a white screen; but I wasn't sure if the others who've had a white screen have been able to toggle the UI or not.

If it's server issues, I can wait, but if it's not I'll be really disappointed. I bought this game after playing Mystic Messenger and loving it :(

Sounds like server issues. If you played the demo and didn't have any problems, then I wouldn't worry. :)

I'm having a somewhat similar issue? I'm stuck on Red's route. :(

I can load up the save files but I can't start a new game. My game save file with Red works for a while.. then later it just stops. Like I can't move onto the next dialogue after reaching a certain point. I can seem to open up the menu with right click but if I try to load or go back to title screen, I can't select either OK or Cancel on the menu so it's... just.. stuck there like that until I close the game.

Sigh.. if it's a server issue then okay, I'll wait. But if it goes on, I'll have to email chertiz as a last resort. T.T;

Same problem): My progress is missing, and when I try to load a new game its just white screen with the dialog box.

Oh..! Oh my god, I got mine to work again, I could cry. ;___; After checking the other threads, I came across one about white screen and just a text box. What I did was repair the steam service. There was a link but it goes nowhere. So basically what I did was:

1. Close Steam first.
2. For Windows 7, Search Run. And open it, then type D:\Steam\bin\steamservice.exe /repair. Well replace my D drive destination to the location of your Steam client.

3. A black screen will pop up, and you have to wait for it till it says the repair is complete.
4. Then I restarted my comp and ran Nameless and it went through the part I was stuck in.

mazeoflife28's solution fixed the issue with Nameless for me perfectly! It was whitescreen, had no memories/album/extra, and had no sound. Now it works.

EDIT: I booted it up again and got whitescreen + no memories again. :-/

Same problem here. Yesterday everything worked just fine, today the bad moment, everything was gone. Tried to reinstall the game after backuping the save files, but nothing. Now I tried to start a new game and play everything again- white screen. The repair thing did not work too, so frustrating Q-Q What happened? new update maybe? I mean mystic messenger get such problems all the time too.


EDIT 2016-12-12 Now it seems to work again, so I asume the servertheorie was right ^^

I'm having the same issue but on top of that all of my saves were deleted. This is exceedingly frustrating!

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It kept my save files (as I now had a full heart instead of no heart when I opened the game).
