Can't grow Burtrip

for some reason I'm unable to plant the burtrip plant which costs 250 biomass (which I have).
I'm currently in the story level with the shaman where you need to unlock the rain ability.

Hello. Red Burtrip Name below Requirements Means that You didn't invent that type of plant yet. You could invent new plants types in BIOLAB :) Hope It will help.
